The series premiered on January 3, 2023, on ABC and received generally positive reviews from the critics.
Now there’s good news for the fans as ABC has renewed Will Trent for a second season. The early pickup does not come as a surprise as Will Trent has been leading the ABC freshman pack. The series is ABC’s No. 1 new drama this season with total 9.9 million viewers. The series is improving its time slot over comparable weeks last season by 143% in total viewers.
