David Bowie’s extensive archives have found a permanent home in London’s Victoria & Albert Museum, The Associated Press reports. The collection includes costumes, instruments, letters, photos, lyrics, and more. In 2025, they’ll be viewable at a new public arts center, the David Bowie Center for the Study of Performing Arts. The center is part of V&A East Storehouse, which is being built in east London’s Olympic Park.

The collection’s highlights include a Ziggy Stardust jumpsuit, Bowie’s Aladdin Sane Tour costumes, handwritten lyrics for “‘Heroes,’” and notebooks Bowie kept throughout his lifetime. It was secured by the David Bowie Estate, while a 10 million pound donation from the Blavatnik Family Foundation and Warner Music Group will go toward a display and home at the V&A East location.

“With David’s life’s work becoming part of the U.K’s national collections, he takes his rightful place amongst many other cultural icons and artistic geniuses,” Bowie’s estate said.
