A TV crime series ran on the Dumont Network from 1950 to 1954. One of the first TV crime shows, it starred veteran actor Roscoe Karns as Detective King and Grace Carney as his wife who was never actually shown on camera. The show was done live on a sound stage with a small budget. Note the use of the organ soundtrack, common on radio dramas at the time. It also ran under the title “Inside Detective”. Includes ads.
