After three seasons, fan-favorite Kenny Niedermeier and Armando Rubio are back for Season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way!

Ahead of Season 8, Armando’s daughter, Hannah, went through a major health scare, which caused her to be transported to the United States from their home in Mexico. At first, Armando could not get a humanitarian visa to visit his daughter. With Kenny, who is an American citizen, by her side, the entire 90 Day Fiancé fanbase rallied behind the couple to get Armando to the States. According to TLC, their Season 8 journey will follow Armando’s visa battle, Hannah’s health scare, and more.

Before the couple returns to our screens, we’re breaking down everything you need to know about Kenny and Armando, their family, and their 90 Day Fiancé history.

Who are 90 Day Fiancé‘s Kenny and Armando?

Kenny, 63, and Armando, 37, are beloved 90 Day Fiancé stars who have been with the franchise since 2020, when they made their 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way debut. With Kenny from St. Petersburg, Florida, and Armando from San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico, the duo met on a virtual support group for gay fathers. Today, Kenny and Armando live together in Mexico.

What happened during Kenny and Armando’s 90 Day seasons?

During their first season of The Other Way, which was Season 2, Kenny traveled to Mexico to live with Armando and proposed to him soon after. The season also featured Armando coming out to his family and Kenny’s efforts to win them over. The couple also reconciled with public perception of their relationship as a queer couple.

Season 3 brought new challenges for the couple as they planned their wedding and questioned whether Armando’s father, Armando Sr., would be in attendance. To make matters worse, when they applied for a marriage license, they were denied. At the end of the season, the duo tied the knot, with both Kenny’s and Armando’s full families at the ceremony.

The couple explored the potential of having a baby together through surrogacy and considered moving to Mexico City. At the time, Kenny was worried about having a baby in his sixties. Since the season premiered in 2023, the couple seems to have stopped pursuing growing their family.

Outside of The Other Way, the couple has become fan-favorite commentators on the franchise’s Pillow Talk spinoff. They’ve also appeared on seven episodes of 90 Day Diaries.

Do Kenny and Armando have kids?

Kenny and Armando both have kids from before their relationship. Kenny has four adult children: his son, Bricen, and triplet daughters, Madison, Cassidy, and Taylor. Fans might remember Cassidy and Taylor, who were major players in Kenny and Armando’s first season. He also has six grandsons. On April 18, 2026, he posted, “Grandson #6 is here, after my daughter Cassidy had her baby this past Sunday, my daughter Madison delivered her new baby yesterday, please welcome Charlie Ray!”

Armando has a daughter named Hannah, who is 13. She is incredibly close to Kenny, as he has been in her life since she was seven. She recently faced a major health scare, which caused her to seek treatment in the United States. In the couple’s most recent update on her health, they revealed, “She’s back to her old self, however, with some restrictions. She still does not have a diagnosis as to her brain bleed, and the road ahead is still filled with tons of questions.”

What’s next for Kenny and Armando?

Ahead of The Other Way Season 8, TLC teases: “Kenny and Armando’s love story has made them one of the most beloved couples in the franchise, but this season their family faces some of its biggest challenges yet. A terrifying health scare for Hannah shakes the family, while delays with Armando’s visa threaten their plans. With their future suddenly uncertain, Kenny and Armando face the possibility of an impossible choice that could leave the people they love on opposite sides of the border.”
