Tom Sandoval was spotted in Los Angeles while Raquel Leviss receives treatment for her mental health amid the ongoing fallout from their affair.
The TomTom co-owner, 40, was photographed Friday, April 14. Sandoval was decked out in a custom outfit with “T Sandy” inscribed on the left side of a black button-up shirt.
Hours earlier, Us Weekly confirmed that Leviss, 28, checked herself into a mental health treatment facility Friday morning.
“Raquel and her family decided before the relationship was discovered that she would enter a voluntary facility for mental health counseling,” a statement from Leviss’ rep read at the time. “Raquel had planned to admit herself before the VPR reunion was taped on March 23. She was scheduled to go in pre-reunion but decided she wanted to finish her filming commitment. Bravo and production were aware and in support of her journey towards better mental health.”
The former beauty queen’s decision came one month after her affair with Sandoval. The scandal made headlines as it was the cause for the split between the Missouri native and his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix. The former couple called it quits after nine years of dating once the Paradise City actress, 37, learned of her ex’s infidelity.
Once news broke of the scandal — known by Pump Rules fans as Scandoval — the pair’s Vanderpump Rules costars rallied around Madix to support her during the breakup. The couple faced scrutiny while they filmed the season 10 reunion special last month. After the taping, an insider exclusively told Us that Lala Kent and James Kennedy “went crazy” on Leviss and Sandoval at the reunion.
“The cast was out of control,” the source said at the time. “James took on Tom Sandoval while Lala took on Raquel Leviss and they both just lit them on fire and burned them alive with their shade. Lala and James literally screamed at Raquel and Tom for hours.”
Earlier this week, the Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras frontman gave a bombshell interview with Howie Mandel telling his side of the story. During the discussion, Sandoval divulged the origin story of his romance with Leviss and gave an update on where the twosome currently stand.
“We’re really good friends. We are not putting any label on it,” he said during the Tuesday, April 11, episode of the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast.
Prior to Sandoval’s podcast appearance, his buddy and business partner, Tom Schwartz made headlines for his appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen earlier this month. Schwartz revealed that Sandoval fell “in love” with Leviss and began an emotional affair hooking up in August 2022.
“The one-night stand was in August and then it became, from my point of view, it became an emotional affair. Which is still inappropriate but I didn’t think it was linear,” he explained. “[Then] in January, he came to me and told me that he was in love with Raquel.”
