“To come out and be uncertain, and have this opportunity to make a TV show, I was — for lack of a better word — insecure. Now I feel like it’s been five to six years I’ve been working with some amazing people, supportive people, and it’s made me more secure,” she said with a laugh. “No, but like, it’s made me more confident in my place here in Hollywood.”
