On Saturday (August 19), Earl Sweatshirt brought out Tyler, the Creator during his concert at the Novo in Los Angeles. The show was put on to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Earl Sweatshirt’s 2013 solo debut, Doris—and who better to punctuate the festivities than Sweatshirt’s friend and fellow Odd Future alumnus? Tyler joined Sweatshirt on stage for a live rendition their Doris collaboration “Woah.” Check it out on X.

Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, the Creator have performed together live only a handful of times in recent years. In 2016, the two artists linked up at One Love Festival in Calgary, Alberta, where they performed their Odd Future cut “Orange Juice.” Two years later, Syd and Hodgy joined Tyler and Sweatshirt on stage during the final evening of Low End Theory’s weekly DJ nights for a proper Odd Future reunion.

Earl Sweatshirt will play three additional Doris anniversary gigs in the coming days. On August 22, he’ll perform at House of Blues Chicago, before heading to Brooklyn Steel the following night. His final stop takes place August 25 at Koko in London. In November, Sweatshirt will play the 2023 edition of Tyler’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, along with Syd, Turnstile, Kali Uchis, PinkPantheress, Ravyn Lenae, Kevin Abstract, Ice Spice, and others.

Sweatshirt issued his latest project, Sick!, in 2022, and officially released a one-off single called “Making the Band (Danity Kane)” earlier this summer. Tyler dropped his expanded LP Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale back in March.
