After recently sharing a teaser, FX has now announced the release date for the upcoming fourth and final season of Donald Glover’s Atlanta. The series will premiere on September 15 at 10 p.m. on FX. This premiere consists of the season’s first two episodes, with the remaining eight episodes to follow in the following weeks. The network also shared an official trailer for the show’s fourth season. The trailer features Donald Glover, Lakeith Stanfield, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, and others in their respective roles on the series. Check it out below.

Atlanta’s fourth season arrives just six months after the release of Season 3, which premiered on March 24. The show’s third season was released four years after its second season. Glover has said that Season 4 will be the show’s last season, adding that he initially wanted the series to end with Season 2.

“Death is natural,” he said on a panel in February. “When the conditions are right for something, they happen, and when the conditions aren’t right they don’t happen. Things start to get weird… you can’t do too much. The story was always supposed to be what it was and the story, it really was us.”
