Her gauzy Miu Miu naked set, consisting of a top and skirt, are layered over a soft, neutral bralette and briefs, making her underwear completely exposed. And her Michael Kors Collection dress features edgy hardware at the shoulder and waist, and an exaggerated cutout at the side. In another shot, we see her in a bright-yellow PVC LaQuan Smith trench coat — the very same one Priyanka Chopra wore for her British Vogue debut with Malti in February.
Perhaps most noteworthy are Garner’s changing hairstyles throughout, ranging from a textured, side-parted pink bob to accompany the Miu Miu getup to a wet-effect, fire-red shaggy look, a complement to the Michael Kors number. While those transformations were pulled off by Adir Abergel, Temeka Jackson painted Garner’s nails to match her hair color, so there was a noticeable switch-up in nearly every image. Finally, James Kaliardos was responsible for makeup, opting for a mostly smokey eye effect with a soft glow at the cheeks.
Although Garner, 51, definitely delivers a high impact with these modernized looks, her personal wardrobe has felt a bit more unexpected on her latest promotional tour. Working with Jordan Johnson Chung, the star recently impressed in both a rhinestone corset midi from Roland Mouret and a strapless Gabriela Hearst sheath stitched with metal plates down the bodice that gave off the illusion of cutouts. In December, we saw her visit the White House with daughter Violet for a state dinner, where they both wore matching black dresses with a subtle sheen.
