If you’re starting to really miss having the daily commentary of The View‘s cohosts in this dizzying era of daily news, hang tight! We are about halfway through the show’s end-of-summer break, after which the six stars (Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro) will all be back at the table in an all-new studio.
Season 28 of The View will officially premiere after Labor Day, with its first live episode airing on Tuesday, September 3.
Ticketing for the new season is currently open to potential audience members, including a pre-premiere event on August 29 where “test” audiences will help get producers ready to work in the new downtown New York City studio.
The studio move was announced during the Season 27 finale episode in early August, with Hostin explaining, “After 10 years and 2,143 episodes, this is also the last show we’ll do from this studio. We’re sad to say goodbye, but we are thrilled to be moving to a brand-new studio downtown — brand-new, state-of-the-art — and we will see you there in September for the premiere of Season 28 of The View.”
Get ready for a new ‘View’ as we end this chapter after 10 years in our studio on New York City’s Upper West Side!
