Drug Church have announced their new album, Prude, which arrives October 4 via Pure Noise. The punk band shared its lead single today, too: “Demolition Man” comes with a music video starring I Think You Should Leave actor Biff Wiff, and, in the visual, Drug Church perform the song live in a convenience store. Check it out below.
“[It’s] a song about envying dogs because they know what they’ve gotta do each day,” singer Patrick Kindlon said of “Demolition Man” in a press release. “I’m sure dogs are often confused, but they always have the north star of instinct. People live without it.”
Prude is Drug Church’s fifth studio LP and serves as the follow-up to 2022’s Hygiene. They linked up with producer Jon Markson to record the full-length, continuing their streak of working together after Hygiene and 2018’s Cheer. The full tracklist for the 10-song new album is below.
