Alec Baldwin Responds To Rust Shooting Trial Dismissal

Yesterday, Alec Baldwin’s criminal trial for alleged involuntary manslaughter came to a shocking and sudden conclusion.

After an emotional display in the courtroom from Alec and his wife Hilaria Baldwin, the actor didn’t address the press while leaving the courtroom post-ruling — but now he’s broken his silence on Instagram about the unexpected turn of events.

“There are too many people who have supported me to thank just now,” he said in the post’s caption.

“To all of you, you will never know how much I appreciate your kindness toward my family.”

Hilaria hasn’t yet made her own public statement, but we’ll let you know if she does.
