TriVersity Talk! is a weekly web series with featured guests discussing their lives, activism and pressing issues in the LGBTQ Community. With TriVersity Talk!, the goal is to laugh and learn.

From an early age, Wendy Cole knew she was a girl but struggled to conform to her family’s and society’s expectations. It wasn’t until the age of 67 that she discovered her medical diagnosis had changed from a psychological condition with no treatment or cure to how she was born and now with medical support. Wendy found the courage to embrace her true self and undergo her life-changing transition. This journey was challenging, including societal stigma, personal doubts, and the fear of rejection. In doing so, she embarked on a personal journey of self-acceptance, shedding the fears, doubts, and anxieties that had held her back for so long. Within just six months, Wendy was able to start living as her authentic self.
Today, Wendy draws on her experiences and studies to mentor and coach others through their major life transitions. She guides her clients in making profound changes to their lives and health and finding happiness in being true to themselves.
Wendy’s passion for coaching is deeply rooted in empathy. She understands her clients’ challenges, having overcome similar obstacles in her own life. She knows that having someone who has walked the same path can make all the difference in navigating significant life changes. Wendy focuses on her clients’ futures, helping them realize that while change may seem intimidating initially, it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. She encourages her clients to embrace the journey, have fun, and revel in the joy of living a life that resonates with their true selves.
