“On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept’s diligent and prompt resolution of this matter,” Cardi’s attorneys Drew Findling, David Chesnoff, and Richard Schonfeld said in a statement to TMZ.

Cardi B is just the latest artist to be assaulted by a fan in the middle of a concert. In recent months, Bebe Rexha needed stitches after getting hit in the face by a phone, Kelsea Ballerini paused a concert after getting struck in the eye by a bracelet, and P!NK got an unwelcome surprise from a fan who threw their mother’s ashes onto the stage. At one of her own recent shows, Adele called out reckless concertgoers for “forgetting fucking show etiquette.”

Just last week, Cardi teamed up with her husband Offset for his new single “Jealousy.”
