The new games coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate throughout the first couple of weeks of September 2023 have been announced. As the highlight is undoubtedly Bethesda’s new space-exploration RPG Starfield, those who aren’t interested in that game will find very little else on offer for this period.
Here are the Xbox Game Pass September 2023 games
The first wave of Xbox Game Pass games for this month begins today, September 5, with the release of the platformer Gris, which was mentioned at the end of last month. The highlight of the period, and likely the biggest addition of the month, arrives tomorrow when Starfield becomes available on Game Pass as a day-one release.
In addition to Gris, there’s one new Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perk available today, a 3-month subscription to Minecraft Realms Plus. The remaining two games will arrive on different platforms throughout the first part of the month. The full list includes:
- Starfield (Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud) – September 6
- Solar Ash (Console, PC, and Cloud) – September 14
- Lies of P (Console, PC, and Cloud) – September 19
Along with the good news comes the bad in the form of a list of nine games that will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on September 15. These are:
- Amazing Cultivation Simulator (PC)
- Aragami 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventure of Krypto and Ace (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Fuga: Melodies of Steel (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Metal Hellsinger (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Sid Meier’s Civilization 6 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Tainted Grail: Conquest (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Train Sim World 3 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
If you’re in the process of playing these, make sure to take a break from Starfield to get them finished in time.
