Fast X Director Wants to Make Fortnite Movie

Fast X director Louis Leterrier wants to make a Fortnite movie.

At a panel in San Diego Comic-Con, Leterrier mentioned wanting to make a movie based on the famous video game from Epic Games. “Because the game is incredible,” Leterrier explained to fellow director Justin Simien (via GamesRadar+). “The characters… I mean, there’s so much more to be told. It’d be funny. It would be full of action and everything.”

Leterrier most recently directed Fast X, the tenth movie in the main Fast & Furious series. He is also set to direct the 11th movie in the action franchise. Leterrier has also directed movies like Now You See Me, The Incredible Hulk, Transporter 2, and Unleashed.

Will there be a Fortnite movie?

Donald Mustard, CCO of Epic Games, said a live-action Fortnite movie was a possibility. However, there are no official plans to turn this popular game into a film.
