Prime Video has released the official trailer for Cross, the upcoming crime series based on characters created by best-selling author James Patterson.
Aldis Hodge stars as Alex Cross, “a detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of killers and their victims, in order to identify—and ultimately capture—the murderers.”
Hodge is a veteran actor who rose to prominence on TNT’s Leverage. Hodge’s notable television roles include Ray “Voodoo” Tatum in Friday Night Lights, Jordan/Akinbode in Turn: Washington’s Spies, and Decourcy Ward in City on a Hill.
On the film side, Hodge starred as MC Ren in the NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton. Hodge also starred as Jim Brown in One Night in Miami…, James Lanier in The Invisible Man, and Carter Hall/Hawkman in Black Adam.

What Happens in the Cross Trailer?
Alex Cross is investigating a string of murders as he pursues a mysterious serial killer who wears a disturbing mask. The killer looks to change the appearance of his victims and stage their deaths, which complicates Cross’ pursuit of justice.
Besides Hodge, Cross stars Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford, and Ryan Eggold.
Cross is created by Ben Watkins, who serves as the showrunner, writer, and executive producer. Executive producers include Patterson, Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, Craig Siebels, Bill Robinson, Patrick Santa, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost.
Cross is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Paramount Television Studios, and Skydance Television. The series has already been renewed for Season 2.
Cross premieres on November 14 on Prime Video.
