The butt-cleavage fashion trend is alive and well, thanks to Saweetie. On April 13, the rapper nearly broke Instagram by posing in a red maxi dress that dips dangerously low in the back. The daring design is completely backless, save for two crisscross straps, and plunges well past her lower back in a deep-V shape. She made sure to show off every angle of the gown, sharing several mirror photos and videos shot from behind. “what’s that in my cuuup,” she captioned the post, quoting lyrics from her song “BO$$ CHICK.”

Saweetie accessorized with plenty of diamond jewelry, including two bracelets, a collection of rings, and stud earrings. She finished the look with razor-sharp stiletto nails painted red to match her dress. We’re not quite sure where she was headed for the evening, but she looked damn good for the occasion.

The Grammy nominee is one of many stars to embrace butt cleavage as the Y2K silhouette makes a comeback. Celebrities like Zoë Kravitz and Hailey Bieber took the trend for a spin at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty last year, and Cardi B showed off her butt tattoo in a low-cut dress alongside husband Offset. Plus, Kim Kardashian’s Skims brand fed into the hype by releasing a dress with a prominent keyhole cutout at the lower back.

Saweetie has always been bold with her style choices. Just last month, she attended a red carpet premiere wearing a delicate bralette dripping in chains and Hello Kitty charms, and a few weeks prior, she posed on Instagram Stories in an olive-green bikini with straps so thin, we dubbed it a “flosskini.” The singer has also experimented with opera gloves, extreme-cutout dresses, and low-rise pants, and we expect her to churn out even more striking looks when she releases her debut album later this year.
