Inside Gisele Bündchen’s First Christmas After Tom Brady Divorce

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady started divorce proceedings this year, making this the first Christmas the super model has celebrated since their separation. She and Brady share two children, 13-year-old Benjamin and 10-year-old Vivian, and she decided to take them to her native Brazil for the holidays. She shared a carousel of pictures from their gorgeous family vacation on Instagram.

“It’s my Rio Grande do Sul Heaven, Sun, South, Earth and Color,” she wrote in the caption. “Where everything that is planted grows and what blooms the most is love. It’s always so good to come back home. Always so good to be back home.”

In the photos, she stands in a beautiful cluster of hydrangea, takes Benjamin and Vivian horseback riding, and poses with her parents, Vania Nonnenmacher and Valdir Bündchen.

She had posted earlier in the month from Praia Brava beach, writing, “Recharging with my little ones in the country of my [heart emoji].”

Meanwhile, on Christmas Day, Brady was serving as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback playing against the Arizona Cardinals. In an interview on his SiriusXM podcast Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, Brady said he’d be celebrating Christmas with his kids at a later date and it was a strange adjustment.

“It’ll be a new experience that I’ve never had before that I’m gonna learn how to deal with,” he admitted. “And I think that’s what life’s about…I’m gonna learn how to deal with Christmas Eve in a hotel, and I’m gonna have to learn how to deal with Christmas and Christmas night and still go out there and be a professional, and then look forward to celebrating Christmas with my kids the day after.”
