Here’s all the coded messages Swift seems to be sending in the video so far.

Which albums are coming next.

In one scene, Swift is dressed as a Roman goddess of justice, holding the scale that is always tipped back and forth by karma. Eagle eyed fans noted that on the pedestal Swift stands on, the Roman numerals meaning “1989” are written. Could 1989 be the next Taylor’s Version coming out?

In another scene, she’s wearing light blue and black nail polish while holding a a coffee topped with clock foam art. Some believe the black polish is a nod to her album Reputation, indicating these two albums are next for Swift’s re-recordings.

However, this is wildly open to interpretation. Others interpreted the colors in scenes to show a completely different line up of Taylor’s Version rerecords: Fearless, Red, Speak Now, 1989, Reputation, and Taylor Swift.

For what it’s worth, Swift “liked” a comment about the nail polish scene on Twitter:

References to past music videos.

Whatever order the albums are coming in, Swift definitely brought back references to them with some imagery in “Karma.”

For example, her look in Reputation with the slicked-back hair and darker makeup.

And there’s a snake in the background, which were important thematically on that album:

But a lot more references popped up to 1989, making it the most likely album to be coming out next. In one scenes there’s a shot of blue vinyl, which nods to Swift’s song “Blank Space.”

And there are multiple images with the number five repeated, five seagulls, five light bulbs. And 1989 was her fifth album.
