I had never used a garment bag prior to, oh, just about a week ago, but I’m already sold on the concept. You might think of garment bags as mere sheath covers to be used to and fro the dry cleaners or to lug that hideous bridesmaid’s dress to a destination wedding. But the best garment bags do so much more. Namely, it serves as an excellent travel bag and is ideal for quick trips when you don’t necessarily need to pack a weekender bag.
