A Makeup-Free Zendaya and Tom Holland Were Photographed Holding Hands

It isn’t often that paparazzi capture Zendaya and Tom Holland together, but yesterday morning in London, they managed to get a rare snap of the two out at the grocery store (Waitrose specifically). Zendaya and Holland held hands, and the photo agency noted that Holland was more recognized there than Zendaya. A young fan reportedly went up to him and asked for a selfie, leaving Zendaya out, “much to her amusement,” the agency wrote.

The two were dressed down, Zendaya makeup-free and casual in jeans and a black zip-up jacket. She wore her hair down in wet waves.

The couple’s outing comes one day after Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach announced his retirement on Instagram. He clarified on Twitter last night that his working relationship with Zendaya hasn’t ended though. “So y’all really think I’m breaking up with Z….. we are forever!” he wrote in one tweet, adding in a second, “She’s my little sister and it’s real love not the fake industry love.”

Roach spoke to Vogue about his recent career change, clarifying that he is just evolving beyond styling celebrities. “I’m not saying I’m retiring from fashion,” he said. “I love fashion. I love the businesses, and I love being creative. What I’m retiring from is the celebrity styling part of it: the being in service and at service of other people. That’s what I’m retiring from, yeah.”

Zendaya hasn’t commented on Roach’s decision yet.

As for Zendaya and Holland, the two were spotted in London, where Holland’s family lives, during Oscars weekend too. The pair has kept their relationship private when they can, with Zendaya admitting to GQ in fall 2021 that the public fascination around them “was quite strange and weird and confusing and invasive. The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own…I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”
