The first batch of 2023 Grammy Awards performers has been announced. Performing at the Los Angeles event on February 5 are: Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Kim Petras, and Sam Smith.

Bad Bunny is nominated for three awards at the 2023 Grammys, including Album of the Year, making him the first nominee in the category with an all-Spanish-language album. Back at the 2021 Grammy Awards, he and Jhay Cortez played “Dákiti.”

Mary J. Blige is also nominated for Album of the Year for the deluxe version of Good Morning Gorgeous. It’s one of six 2023 nominations for the legendary R&B star.

Steve Lacy got four nominations at the 2023 Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance for breakthrough hit “Bad Habit.”

At the 2020 Grammys, along with winning several awards, Lizzo played a medley of Cuz I Love You songs. She nabbed five 2023 Grammy nominations.

Brandi Carlile has become a regular at the Grammys, having performed in 2020, 2021, and 2022. She’s nominated for seven awards at the 2023 Grammys.

Sam Smith and Kim Petras recently performed their No. 1 hit “Unholy” on Saturday Night Live. The single has them nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, too.

The country star Luke Combs has never won a Grammy Award, but he has three chances to do so this year, having been nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, Best Country Album, and Best Country Song.
