Black Adam 2: Producers Tease Fast Production Timeline for Sequel

Following the theatrical release of Black Adam, producers Hiram Garcia and Beau Flynn have confirmed their plans for the development of Black Adam 2. Speaking with Comic Book, Garcia and Flynn confidently assure fans that the potential Dwayne Johnson-led sequel won’t take long as the first film’s production.

“Don’t worry,” Flynn said. “This one will be fast…We will open up the magic wagon, we’ll have the script ready, pretty fast.”

“We always hope the first domino’s the easy one,” Garcia added, “We’ll get cooking on it fast, that’s for sure.”

Garcia went on to reveal their possible ideas for Black Adam 2, which would involve a bigger role for Henry Cavill’s Superman as they continue to tease the ultimate showdown between the Man of Steel and the anti-hero.

“Our vision is, what we really want to establish is Superman exists in the same world as Black Adam,” Garcia teased. “Both those guys exist in the same universe and that’s important for us. It’s in the universe where our JSA is and so forth. But we really wanted the world to know that these guys are going to cross paths and how we do it, we’re still working on it. We don’t want to give that away. But I will say that it’s much bigger than what people think.”
